A little girl said to me today...
"I have lots of freckles.. freckles are angel kisses you know. I have lots of them because my mom is an angel now"
...she's 5, and recently lost her mom to breast cancer.

What a beautiful way of putting things....children's innocence still amazes me when they speak such profound words of love.
OMG, how so-very-sad for that little girl to lose her mother at such an early age. I'm not losing sight of the freckle quote, but the breast cancer aspect of your post hits very, very close to where I live, Susan.
My ex- is a breast cancer survivor (going on eight years, now), and my SN3 was only three years old when TSMP went through her ordeal. "There but for the Grace of God..."
