First of all, I want to thank everyone for their heart-felt thoughts regarding Sparky. I know, just a dog, but for those of you that have or have had pets, you know that they become part of the family.
Stuntman and I were laughing about some of Sparky's antics over the years. We still can't decide if she was extremely intelligent, or an idiot dog. She really was one of a kind and we miss her.
Roxie and Emma are doing well, and so are the kids.
We went to the beach today. I should be uploading photos right about now, but my camera battery was dead. dang.
The kids (and Stuntman and his brother) spent most of the time catching sand crabs and putting them into a bucket.
I need to clean and vacuum the car tomorrow, I think we hauled most of the beach home with us.

Isn't that the way it always is? I don't think I EVER got all the sand out of my car when I lived in SoCal...
Which beach do all y'all go to, Susan? I hung at 22nd Street in Hermosa (or was it Manhattan?), back in the day. You know, when we drew the surfing pictures on the cave walls with charcoal... ;-)
Buck, we went to Redondo, that's where my BIL lives. ... surfing pictures on the cave walls with charcoal
funny :)
Susan,
I just wanted to tell you how sorry I am about Sparky.....I wasn't around much last week, fighting my own demons I guess, but I wanted you to know that I was thinking of you....
We too lost a pet on the 18th, my son's hamster, while it's not the same, he took it very hard, since moving, he had been his only friend.....

ASW,
so sorry to hear about the hamster...they may be small, but kids can be very attached to them.
