I have a new outlook today.
We're all healthy (relatively speaking)
We're still a family, although one big part is on the other side of the world temporarily.
We love each other like only family can.
A horrible tragedy happened in my neighborhood yesterday. An unimaginable, preventable, evil thing.
I didn't know the family, but a good friend of mine did know them very well.
It wasn't war, it wasn't an accident, it was just plain evil.
Something like this can really make you look at what you have, and what I, for one, am so very thankful.
