The service guy just called...
it seems that living on the side of a mountain, and driving up and down that mountain several times a day can be really hard on brakes.
I know where a big chunk of my stimulus check is going.

brakes. thats exciting! a chunk of mine is going to fill up the oil tank. we are wild people. wild i tell ya.
Sorry about the brakes. But Good On Ya for the stimulus aspect of it all. I'm doing sort of the same thing... new tires.
What a wild group we are. forgot to mention the new front tires to boot ( I had already replaced the rear ones when I ran over nails).
Well, I was tempted to quote that ol' saw about spending most of it on beer and hookers, and the rest foolishly... but thought better about it. Until now, of course. ;-)
