I know that Stuntman lost some hearing while he was deployed...
but I think he's lost smelling ability as well.
For some reason, the smell of dirty diaper no longer registers.
... or he could just be ignoring them until I smell it and change it.

Aaahhhh . . . so that is why my husband only seems to remember babies need to be changed every once in a while AFTER I tell him. His sense of smell is gone. He jokes with me that he has something called selective ptsd. And that I need to be more understanding of these shortcomings. Like picking up dog poop and changing dirty diapers. Jeesh!
Hmmm. Having some experience in this space (and not insignificant, either, what with three kids and seven grandkids), I'd say it's probably the latter. We men are just like that, yanno? ;-)
